Just like our other SYT groups, in our Home Education classes we aim to give young people a fun, creative, thrilling drama experience where they can build their confidence and develop new skills. But not only will our Home-Ed students work towards a termly showcase, they will also complete an Arts Award qualification. Arts Award is a highly respected qualification that we use to help our students explore their passions and creativity through drama!

Location Of Sessions
SYT - Home Education sessions are held at the Swan Theatre: The Moors, Worcester, WR1 3ED
Students are dropped off in the foyer at the Swan Theatre where our tutors will come and collect them before taking all the students over to one of our studios. All students should be picked up in the Swan Theatre foyer at the end of the session, but parents are welcome to wait in the foyer during the session if they wish - drinks are available at our bar and we have FREE wifi!
Pricing Information
Prices for each age group are £57.50 per term. Payments can be made either termly or annually via bank transfer or in person at our Box Office, with card or cash.
We offer a limited number of bursary places for members on limited incomes. If you wish to apply for a free place, please contact us. We also offer a sibling discount if you have more than one child signed up for our Youth Theatre, please enquire to see if this may apply to you.

TUESDAY GROUPS
Sessions for our Summer term have now ended and will re-start w/c 16th September for the autumn term.
Tuesdays: 10:30am - 12pm

Group 1 - Under age 11
Our tutors gently introduce theatre skills using imaginative play, creativity exercises and physical theatre activities to get children used to working within a fun and informal group. We explore stories, poetry and theatre skills such as mime, vocal control and body work. As they progress through Arts Award, we encourage them to focus on the creative elements they enjoy and hone their skills.
Tuesdays: 10:30am - 12pm

Group 2 - Age 11 and up
They will begin to learn the creative elements of exploring a script and hone techniques for performance. The students will work towards a summer show, which may be either scripted or devised. As they progress through Arts Award, we encourage them to focus on the creative elements they enjoy and hone their skills.
