Volunteer for us!

Worcester Theatres has a fabulous network of volunteer stewards and volunteer bar staff who support our Front of House operations by stewarding at both the Swan Theatre and Huntingdon Hall or serve on our bars. We are always looking for new volunteers to join our friendly team so if you enjoy theatre, live music and comedy and are looking to fill some spare time, be this a little or a lot we would be delighted to hear from you!

In return for your support you get to see wonderful shows at our venues for free and help to support the arts in Worcester.

What our Members Say...

I started volunteering at Huntingdon Hall over 30 years ago and since then have been a Front of House Steward at all Worcester Theatre venues.

I find being a volunteer with Worcester Theatres such a rewarding experience. We are an integral part of the theatre team, the well trained, vigilant “ eyes and ears “ during the performance. I enjoy meeting the patrons and welcoming them, with a friendly smile and greeting ,to our fantastic venues and ensuring that they have an enjoyable, safe and memorable visit. I have experienced many superb shows  (a few also that would not initially have interested me!!), stewarded annually at more than 40 panto performances {oh yes I have !!}, met Prince Edward and formed many friendships . I especially love Children’s theatre and seeing wonder and delight on their young faces…a friendly introduction to Live Theatre is so important for a young person’s cultural development. They are after all the audience of the future !

I am so glad that I became part of the Worcester Theatres’ family. It has become an important part of my life and also that of my family and I hope that I will be able to continue to offer my support for many years to come.

Thank you Worcester Theatres.
