We’re expanding our Youth Theatre to include surrounding areas, and we now offer classes in Pershore! We're offering the same high quality, fun and creative Youth Theatre sessions that we hold in Worcester but hosting them in Pershore’s own Number 8 theatre. We give young people the chance to develop new skills, polish old ones and build their confidence through drama activities and games. We also give our young people the opportunity to join us in Worcester and perform on our Swan Theatre stage for our Summer Showcase.

Free Taster Session
Students have a trial session for free, and moving forward we will request payments that can be paid termly or annually.
The Swan Youth Theatre offer a limited number of free places for members on limited incomes. If you wish to apply for a free place, please contact us.

Prices for each age group are laid out in the list of sessions below. Payments can be made either termly or annually via bank transfer or in person at our Box Office, with card or cash.

JUNIOR GROUPS
Sessions for our Summer term have now ended and will re-start w/c 16th September for the autumn term.
Ages 5 - 8
Mondays 4:30pm - 5:30pm
£57.50 per term
Our tutors gently introduce theatre skills using imaginative play, creativity exercises and physical theatre activities to get children used to working within a fun and informal group. We explore stories, poetry, short films, and theatre skills such as mime, vocal control and body work.
INTERMEDIATE GROUPS
Sessions for our Summer term have now ended and will re-start w/c 16th September for the autumn term.
Ages 9 - 13
Mondays 5:45pm - 7:15pm
£67.50 per term
They will begin to learn the creative elements of exploring a script and hone techniques for performance. We work toward a summer show, which can be either scripted or devised.
SENIOR GROUPS

Ages 14 - 18
Mondays 7:30pm - 9:30pm
£77.50 per term
We work with many different performance styles and the creative process behind that, such as devising work solo and with a group, working from a piece of text and storytelling both verbally and physically.
Our senior Swan Youth Theatre will be offered a variety of trips to local / regionally events and performances throughout the year as well as being invited to the in-house performances at the Swan Theatre.
