It's great to welcome back English Jones to Culture Cafe! The current line up of Midlands based band English Jones have been together since 2015 and feature singer/songwriter Stewart Jones, lead guitarist and vocals Andy Davis and bass guitar and vocals Muriel Halpin. EJ’s original blend of acoustic pop and warm vocal harmonies find favour with gig goers and venues alike.

2024 saw the band play across the Midlands, including at Malvern Rocks, Melton Mowbray, Worcester Swan Theatre and Warwick Beer festival as well as regular local events. 

2025 will see the band bringing a cool summer sound with their upbeat originals to audiences old and new alike.

About Culture Cafe

The Culture Cafe (pronounced 'caf') first started in 2021 and is an opportunity to sit back, relax and enjoy some brilliant live performance against the backdrop of the beautiful Worcester Racecourse. Every first Thursday of the month we invite local artists to perform in our foyer from a range of genres - one month you might be listening to a great acoustic guitarist, the next could be poetry!

Our bar will be able to provide drinks and snacks so you can treat yourself to a coffee and a cake as you sit back and enjoy this cultural offering. Culture Cafe events are completely FREE to attend and go a long way to support both local artists and the theatre.

Every first Thursday of the month, between 1pm - 3pm, a performer will join us in the Swan Theatre bar area, so why not come and experience great local art, music and performance for FREE!
