What better way to spend valentines day in the company of these comedy lovelies! This months’ club features Dani Johns, Matt Stellingwerf, Danny Deegan and headlined by one of our all-time favourites, Sully O’Sullivan!

Matt Stellingwerf
Hamilton-Born and Wangnui-raised farmer’s son, trained criminologist and stand up comedian…Matt Stellingwerf is a man of contradictions. He expertly brings these contradictions to the stage with his typical low-key style and confidence finding the humour in topics as diverse as love, politics and a crazy interview he once conducted with a serial killer in Death Row! When this erudite satire-superstar gets onto the stage, the acceleration from zero to a hundred jokes is measured in seconds. Matt Stellingwerf’s deftly crafted jokes display a man full of seriously good comedic talent.

Dani Johns
Born and bred Bristolian Dani Johns is described as a "smart, clever pocket rocket of a comedian" whose "sassy delivery captivates every audience member". Dani is an instantly likeable act with an impressive and increasing list of accolades (including BBC New Comedy Award, Funny Women Stage Award & Komedia Bath Act of the Year Award). With an energetic mix of story telling and serious over sharing, she's been named as one of the best new comics on the scene and is taking the circuit by storm.

Sully O’Sullivan
Sully O’Sullivan is a seasoned international headliner who has performed all over the world. First stepping onto the stage in his native New Zealand, Sully rocketed to stardom making his TV debut just 7 months later in New Zealand’s cult stand-up series Pulp Comedy on TV2, where he went on to appear in another three seasons. In 2005 Sully decided to spread his comedy wings and head to the sunny coasts of Great Britain. Over a decade later and he’s now performed in almost every corner of the country including the Orkney Islands, the Isle Of Man, the Isle Of White & the Channel Islands! Basically there’s not many places in the UK that Sully hasn’t set foot. Renowned as an act capable of performing in any room and to any audience, Sully has also built up a reputation as one of the most reliable and quick witted comperes on the circuit.

Danny Deegan
With the confidence and swagger that you might expect of a North-West comedian at the very top of his game, Danny Deegan is a comedian, writer and actor who has become a regular at most of the major comedy clubs in the UK since he began performing in 2003. Danny’s tales of mischief and the characters he creates have kept audiences all over the country enthralled as he weaves in and out of the people he has met traveling. His talent and likability coupled with his confidence make him one of the most popular acts in the North, a master at dealing with a tough crowd.
