Butoh Dance Classes

Movement practitioner Dr Daniel Somerville will be teaching weekly classes on the Japanese dance technique, Butoh. A contemporary dance that originated in Japan and is sometimes known as the dance of darkness, Butoh delves into memory and poetic images to create choreography. No previous experience required, just bring yourself, some comfortable clothing and a desire to dance!

Session Information

• Starting from 10th April until June, sessions will take place at the Swan Theatre Studio on Wednesdays from 7pm - 9pm.
• Individual sessions are £7 each when bought seperately, or you can book the full 10 sessions for £60 directly through the Box office on 01905 611427.
• No experience required.
• Please wear comfortable clothing
