Our Relaxed, Audio Described, Dementia Friendly and BSL interpreted performances are suitable for everyone, but we make some small adjustments to make it a more enjoyable and comfortable experience for all. Find out more below.

S = British Sign Language Interpreted Performance

AD = Audio Described

R = Relaxed Performance

DF = Dementia Friendly Performance

What to expect?

Relaxed performances

Our Relaxed Performances are suitable for everyone but tailored to those who would benefit from a more relaxed and easy going environment.

  • We have an open door policy so patrons are free to come and go from the auditorium as they please.
  • The house lights in the auditorium will be on so you can see and move with ease.
  • The sound will be adjusted to more comfortable levels with less intensity.
  • The characters are introduced at the beginning of the performance so the audience can become more familiar with them, making it easier to follow along.

On a whole the ‘Theatre Etiquette’ is much more relaxed at these performances, patrons can do what suits them best and our friendly House managers and volunteers are always on hand to help support your needs.

Relaxed Programme

For our relaxed performances, to help you prepare for your trip to the theatre in advance we create a Visual Story to make your visit stress-free and enjoyable. The relaxed programme will be available for download as soon as possible.

Audio Described

Our Audio Described performance is exactly the same as our other Aladdin performances but with extra provisions for people who are blind or partially sighted. Headsets will be available to those that need them, which provide an audible description of the action taking place on stage so that you can follow along with what is happening. You can pick up your headphones on the night, just let our Box Office know in advance how many you need and we can ensure there are plenty available.

Dementia Friendly

Similar to our Relaxed performances, our Dementia Friendly performance is suitable for all but designed to support those living with Dementia, their families and carers.

  • We have an open door policy so patrons are free to come and go from the auditorium as and when they please.
  • The house lights in the auditorium will be on so you can see and move with ease.
  • The sound will be adjusted to more comfortable levels with less intensity.

On a whole the ‘Theatre Etiquette’ is much more relaxed at these performances, patrons can do what suits them best and our friendly House managers and volunteers are always on hand to help support your needs. Carers also go free to our Dementia Friendly performances.

BSL (British Sign Language Interpreted)

Our BSL Interpreted performance is suitable for everyone but with extra provisions for those who are deaf, have hearing loss and family members who use British Sign Language. A BSL interpreter will be visible on the side of the stage interpreting the words and songs live throughout the performance.

Pay for your Panto tickets in Instalments!

Paying for your tickets has never been easier - you can pay for your tickets in up to 4 instalments before the performance. To set up your flexi payments, contact our Box Office who will be happy to help you find a plan that works for you.

  • Call us and reserve your tickets for the day you'd like to see Jack and the Beanstalk.
  • Pay what you can afford during that first phone call (£10 minimum)
  • Call us weekly or monthly and keep adding to the credit we are keeping in your name
  • A fortnight before your performance, call and pay the balance owing and we will send you the tickets

There is no set schedule or set amount that you need to pay. We will not chase you for payments, you pay when and as much as you want, whenever you want. The only time you hear from us is if we've not heard from you for the final payment 2 weeks before your show.

Please note: You can only set up an instalment payment plan via our Box Office, not through our website - please call 01905611427. Terms and conditions apply.
