Imelda Staunton CBE
Oscar nominee and BAFTA award winning actress, Imelda Staunton, is an active supporter and patron, and a great credit to The Swan Theatre where after her dramatic training, she began her career in repertory theatre. Performing in a variety of plays and musicals, she is now a household name and distinguished character in many much-loved films and shows.
"I started my professional career at the theatre with The Worcester Repertory Company in the 1970s and still have fond memories of my time there. Theatres outside London (and sometimes in London) have always struggled for money, so please do what you can to help the theatre survive.
Most importantly, keep coming to live theatre. That more than anything else will keep the Swan healthy and thriving!"
