Join us for an unforgettable night of flamenco dance, music and singing with prize-winning artists from Andalusia, Spain.
Prize-winning artists include Rebeca Ortega, an elegant and internationally acclaimed flamenco dancer and choreographer based in Seville. Recipient of the Seville Stage Awards and the Madroño Young Creators Award (Madrid), she has toured across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, performed at the Canal Theatres (Madrid), and participated in the Suma Flamenca Festival. She is celebrated for her authentic and distinctive flamenco language.
She co-directs the production with Maestro Ramón Ruiz, award-winning flamenco guitarist and composer from Granada, trained in Seville. Ruiz is the composer of the original music for this production, with credits including composing for major stage productions such as The Mask of Zorro, and whose musical direction has received award nominations in the UK.
Co-directed by Rebeca Ortega and Ramón Ruiz, this production unites dance and live music in a powerful artistic dialogue and is making waves across the UK, with sold-out performances and standing ovations nationwide.
Completing the ensemble is Carlos Lobo, a renowned puro flamenco singer from Jerez de la Frontera, now based in Seville, whose singing embodies the raw, ancestral essence of Andalusian cante.
Don’t miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Andalusia, where traditional and modern flamenco artistry meet in the majestic setting of the Swan Theatre.
