Claire’s distinctive and timeless sound evokes the aura of the Woodstock generation, with resonating lyrics, mellifluous vocals, and a subtle technical expertise reminiscent of Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris and Lucinda Williams.
Mice in a Matchbox are something a little different.. They take songs, some familiar, some original, some old and some new, and apply their own lively arrangements. They are equally at home in a pub or bar, or on the main stage at a festival. They've been playing together for ten years and have two albums with a third in preparation. Often heard on local BBC and independent radio, be prepared for a dynamic and exciting performance!

John Morris, though most people call him Mogs.
In 2003 Mogs got early retirement from his job in IT because of failing eyesight. I am now registered blind. He is a member of 2 writing groups and regularly performs his (hopefully humorous) poetry at open mic events and the occasional festival. He has had 6 books published - 2 poetry collections and a novel for children and 3 collections of poetry for the more mature reader.
