The Countess of Huntingdon’s Chapel was a thriving Methodist church built in 1773 and one of 9 chapels built across England by Selina, Countess of Huntingdon. By the 1970’s the building had become derelict and closed as a chapel in 1976. With financial support from Worcester City Council and Worcestershire County Council, along with a dedicated team of fundraisers Huntingdon Hall reopened in 1987 as a concert venue.

35 years later and Huntingdon Hall is a leading venue for entertainment with a very loyal customer base.

Worcester Theatres are proud to be supported by Worcester City Council and most recently the Arts Council England through their Cultural Recovery Funding and Project grants.
