The Swan Theatre is open to all 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday / 9am-close on performance days, we really look forward to welcoming you soon!

The Swan Theatre was designed by Henry Gorst and was, at the time, the first theatre in England specifically designed with disabled patrons in mind. (We continue to strive to be accessible and welcoming for all our patrons, please do contact the box office to discuss your individual needs and we will try to accommodate your personal requirements.)

The Swan Theatre replaced the Theatre Royal which closed in 1957 with the venue opening in 1965 after pledges from the Worcester City Council and fundraising led by the Society for the Advancement of Music and Arts (SAMA).

Worcester Theatres are proud to be supported by Worcester City Council and most recently the Arts Council England through their Cultural Recovery Funding and Project grants.
